The demonstration was held today with the motto “There is no security for Zionist regime amid aggressions on Gaza and Al-Aqsa Mosque”.
Those taking part in the rally reiterated their resolve to continue supporting Palestine and the Gaza Strip.
Similar rallies were held in other cities of Yemen, including Rima and Ma’rib.
They come as the Israeli regime continues its relentless aggression on Gaza and its blockade on the Palestinian enclave.
International organizations have warned of an imminent humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza if Israel keeps blocking the entry of humanitarian aid.
More than 54,200 Palestinians have been killed in Israel’s genocidal war since October 2023, according to the Gaza Health Ministry.
The Israeli army resumed its attacks on the Gaza Strip on March 18 and has since killed 3,986 people and injured 11,451 others, shattering a ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement that took hold in January.
Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former defense minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.
